Data collected
You provide a Google Ads search terms CSV and business context. If you join the complete-report waitlist, you also provide an email address. The service creates generated reports, recommendations, payment metadata, analytics IDs and events, audit events, and operational logs. No Google Ads account connection or OAuth access is required.
How data is used
Data is used to generate reports and exports, process payments, prevent abuse, troubleshoot reliability issues, improve the product, answer support requests, and send the requested complete-report availability update.
AI processing
Uploaded CSV data and business context may be sent to AI providers used by the service to classify and analyze search terms. Do not upload data you are not allowed to process through this audit workflow.
Payments
If paid reports are offered, payments are handled by Stripe. Ads Waste Scanner stores payment status, Stripe checkout identifiers, payment intent identifiers, and customer email when available, but does not receive or store card numbers.
Analytics
Product analytics use selected usage events and bucketed metadata only. Raw search terms, CSV contents, filenames, business context, customer or waitlist email, private report links, and report evidence are not sent to PostHog or equivalent analytics tools.
Sharing
Data may be processed by hosting and database providers, Stripe when payments are enabled, PostHog or equivalent analytics tools when configured, AI providers used by the service, and email or support tools. Data is not sold.
Retention
Raw CSV uploads are deleted after successful analysis or within 24 hours. Reports expire after 30 days by default. Waitlist email addresses expire after 12 months. Payment records may be retained as required for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.
Your choices
You can request access to or deletion of report and waitlist data by email. You can leave the waitlist at any time. Some payment, fraud-prevention, tax, or legal records may need to be retained.
Security and audience
Reasonable technical measures are used to protect uploaded data, but no internet service can guarantee perfect security. The service is intended for US business users, with data handling designed around limited collection, limited retention, and deletion by default.
